Woo hoo!!!! The weekend is packed with events, birthday parties and barbecues. I walk into my closet to find outfits for each event thinking there might be a few tops or dresses that I haven’t worn out.
Code red!! Code red!! I can’t find a top that I haven’t worn out already and taken loads of pictures, which several people have posted on facebook. I do not want to do the whole black top thing, which clearly states I wore this because I had nothing to wear. Why not wear the t-shirt that says exactly that? I don’t feel like wearing jeans because that seems to be my trademark these days.
Maybe I should opt out of one of these events and mix and match my clothes to come up with the perfect outfit(s). Wake up at the crack of dawn tomorrow and camp out at the mall’s parking lot till the doors are open, or just repeat an outfit (hell naaaa!!!). That’s considered a taboo for a lot of Nigerian girls.
It’s funny how BF cannot relate to this. He thinks I must be going crazy because he looks into my walk-in closet and all he sees is piles of neatly stacked and hung clothes and my racks of shoes. Why don’t they get it? Anyway, they say men are from Mars. I totally agree.
Is this just vanity of the highest order, maybe materialism at its peak, or my social life taking control of my life? Help………….

Its not called vanity!!! Its just called "being a woman". I am sure most (if not all) women can relate. I'm thinking of all the dresses I've bought for weddings and I can't even dream of repeating. Sucks!!
The KEY to repeating a hot outfit: wear it for a major event and then wear it months later to a small event with a totally different circle of friends that don't take a gazillion and one pictures.
Oh yeah and with facebook, it only gets harder!!
Just stumbled upon u,and I like it,lol! About skinny jeans, the best pair I ever got were from Uniqlo,and there in expensive well compared to the other brands but they are the best,check it out.

i say vanity. but then we are all guilty as charged. with pictures being taken and internet combined, the last thing u want to do is wear the same outfit in 2 locations on 2 occasions.
i think u're due for shopping. it never ends babes. slogan is; as u breath, so u shop. as in by the second, day-in, day-out.
